They are both playing their characters, improvising with them, Tim tries to switch it up, Eric doesn't do it, and so Tim goes back to the original character they were each playing. That's all I was saying so ummmm chill the fuck out. They improv and switching gears and characters is apart of it, there's nothing technical about it.

Tim tries to switch gears in the character he's doing alltho Eric isn't paying attention. Tim gets all pretend angry and keeps trying to get Eric to switch gears as well, even tries to whisper to Eric's ear. Then Eric says aloud, probably tipping Tim that he's not gonna switch characters, "I'm just in a party mood." & Tim IMMEDIATELY switches back to happy, excited, party character
